SCOTLANDVILLE'S MAKERIAH HARRIS COMPETES AT NEW BALANCE!

Below, you will find the Top 100 returning Louisiana high school girls in the 400m. Louise McGehee's Kali Magana leads the rankings with here 55.92 at the Elite Scholastic Meet.

At the No. 2 spot is Scotlandville's Makeriah Harris, who signed with LSU last month. Harris had a best of 56.31 which she ran to capture the LHSAA D1 State Indoor championship.

Both Magana and Harris were undefeated in Louisiana in the 400m. And both won state championships in the event. Magana won the LHSAA D2 State Indoor Meet with a time of 56.71.

Will we get to see Louisiana's best two quarter milers run head-to-head during the 2024 season? We can only hope. 

There are only three underclassmen in the Top 10 and two of those sprinters are from Lake Charles. St. Louis junior Hannah Boullion is No. 3 on the returners list with a season best of 56.70 at the LSU Last Chance Qualifier. Her cross-town rival--Barbe's Kennedi Burks--is No. 5 on the return...
